SMI Corporate Affairs Manager Roy D. Antonio led the disaster response mission to deliver PhP300,000-worth of disaster relief items, including rice, canned goods, noodles, milk/coffee, and water, benefiting approximately 200 affected residents and families.

We were saddened to learn of the impact of the landslide and express our condolences to the affected families of the residents and employees of Apex Mining. It is during these tragic moments when Pinoy solidarity and Pusong Minero – helping those in need, when needed, wherever needed – come together. Even though we are not yet operating, we mobilized our limited resources to support the relief operations in Maco,” said Mr. Antonio.
