This is a project employment based in Tampakan, South Cotabato.

The role of the Land Access Assistant is to provide support in obtaining access to geotechnical and hydrological drilling sites, assist in securing access of lands for construction purposes, and facilitate the resolution of community grievances related to these activities.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Sustainable Development Practices – provide assistant for compliance and effective use of the project’s safety and environmentally friendly standards and systems within own area of responsibility to positively contribute in nurturing the organization’s sustainable culture.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement – provide support to stakeholder relationships to ensure that the community support the project and the company gain land access. The team should capture potential and perceived issues and concerns of stakeholders and provide appropriate action whenever necessary ensuring access to the First Mine Area.
  1. Administrative Support – Assist in administrative function and give support to other teams on matters related to land acquisition.

Key requirements:

  • A graduate of bachelor’s degree preferably in Social Sciences.
  • Three (3) year work experience in dealing with Indigenous Cultural Communities/ Indigenous people
  • Must have good community engagement background
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Good oral and written communication skills
