The Tampakan Copper-Gold Project ( TCGP )

The Tampakan Copper-Gold deposit is one of the largest undeveloped copper-gold deposits in the world. Once developed, it has the potential to be a key driver of national and regional growth as well as socio-economic development for its host communities.

Sagittarius Mines, Inc. (SMI) is developing the Tampakan Project for its shareholders by virtue of a Financial and Technical Assistance Agreement (FTAA) issued by the Philippine government in 1995.

Our commitment to ethical behavior underpins all our actions and making this Project a reality requires us to work in partnership with our stakeholders in a responsible way.

SMI is deeply committed to upholding and promoting the rights of local communities hosting our Tampakan Project.

We are committed to implementing the U.N. Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) with SMI's security staff and contractors having undergone awareness training in the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) since 2008.

If developed, the Tampakan Project has the potential to make a significant contribution to the economic prosperity of the Philippines and enable a better future for the people of southern Mindanao.
