Sagittarius Mines, Inc. (SMI) is developing the Tampakan Copper-Gold Project in southern Philippine island of Mindanao, involving one of the world’s largest undeveloped copper-gold deposits.
SMI operates the Tampakan Project on behalf of its shareholders Glencore, Indophil Resources NL and Tampakan Group of Companies.
If developed, the Tampakan Project has the potential to make a significant contribution to the economic prosperity of the Philippines and enable a better future for the people of southern Mindanao.

SMI is deeply committed to upholding and promoting the rights of local communities hosting our Tampakan Project. We are committed to implementing the U.N. Guiding Principles for Business and Human Rights and the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) with SMI's security staff and contractors having undergone awareness training in the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) since 2008.
